Prashanth’s journey as a  Physiotherapist began at the Child Development Centre in Hyderabad, India, where she worked from 2010 to 2014. Her responsibilities included assessing and evaluating physical disabilities, with a particular emphasis on the NDT approach for children aged 0 to 15 years, as well as providing care to musculoskeletal and adult neuro related clients in the outpatient department.

Steph is a passionate physiotherapist with a special interest in treating neurological conditions. She practises in both public and private settings in Surrey, White Rock, Ladner, and Tsawwassen.

She founded Activate Neurological Physiotherapy to serve her local community. Steph believes that by providing both in-home and in-clinic care, she can best meet the needs of her clients. She provides skilled hands-on treatment and guided exercise; this focused care helps activate muscles to optimize movement patterns for better overall function.

Steph has more than ten years of across-care-continuum physiotherapy experience. She established her clinical interest while working on the Acute Stroke and Neurology Ward at the Surrey Memorial Hospital, a position she held for six years. She then further developed her experience by supporting clients on their wellness journeys in community settings.

She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s of Physical Therapy (2007) and a Bachelors of Science in Biology (2005). Eva is a Registered Physiotherapist in British Columbia and a member of the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia, Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and the Neuroscience Division.

She has a special interest in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation as well as post-concussion syndrome management. She has completed Vestibular Competency Certification at Emory University through the American Physical Therapy Association. She has also taken multiple postgraduate professional development courses on management of concussions and post-concussion syndrome and truly enjoys working with this clientele. Being neuro-minded, Eva also treats a variety of clients with neurological conditions applying principles of the Bobath Concept. She is very passionate about neuroscience and strives to keep up to date with the current research literature.

Jeanette has more than 10 years of combined experience working in acute care, and various rehabilitation settings. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2010.

Jeanette has experience working with clients with various neurological conditions including in the assessment and treatment of the upper extremity, cognition, sensation, vision and perception. She has completed multiple postgraduate courses in cognitive rehabilitation, visual processing, and the Basic Bobath Course.

Through her work with the geriatric population, she is knowledgeable about resources, care needs, equipment and environmental modifications to support older adults living at home and has taken courses on dementia care and cognitive stimulation therapy. With training in the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills and Functional Capacity Evaluation, she is skilled at assessing how clients complete their activities of daily living and work tasks. She adopts a client-centred approach to therapy with the goal of optimizing clients’ ability to participate in activities that are meaningful to them.
